Mission and objective

Education Solutions, Inc educates next-generation leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs, empowering them to become agents of change whose vision and purpose will be to transform the future of the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”) through informed and strategic leadership.

Recognizing that education is the most powerful tool to transform the future of local communities, countries, and the societies of which they are a part, Education Solutions, Inc  provides free academic instruction and leadership training to promising  Congolese children and youth who have demonstrated academic and leadership potential. Education Solutions, Inc supports program participants from elementary school through to College and University. Our programs include scholarships for academic instruction, leadership training, and education system solutions and capacity-building. 

The scholarship program is dedicated to promising Congolese youth who are unable to obtain a basic education due to a lack of financial resources. For impoverished Congolese youth, this crucial financial support often means the difference between simply staying at home and being given meaningful access to quality education, improved economic circumstances, and the prospects of a bright and successful future. The resources provided by the scholarship program will include funding to cover school tuition, exam fees, school supplies, uniforms and personal supplies, and miscellaneous learning materials. 

Education Solutions also seeks to develop a new breed of responsible and ethical leaders who think critically, act wisely and work skillfully to advance the common good locally and nationally. Through seminars and forums organized either at the local or international levels, Education Solutions works to create and foster an ethical and transformational generation of Congolese leaders. 

Our Systems Solutions Program identifies and resolves systemic challenges that undermine the efficacy of the DRC’s education system Systems Solutions include partnering with local schools, community leaders, and local and national church leaders in order to  train teachers and school administrators, develop forward thinking curricula that will enable Congolese students to keep pace with technological developments,  deliver digital tools (e.g., web access, electronic devices), build and renovate schools, and conduct community workshops.
